Free Resources

EduRanked Free Resources collects practical checklists and planners for applicants comparing universities. Everything here is meant to be used alongside our school guides and — always — the official admissions and tuition pages linked in those guides.

Why checklists beat memory

Admissions cycles fail on small misses: a transcript request sent too late, a fee category misunderstood, a portfolio deadline that differs from the general application deadline, or a scholarship form that needs a separate login. A written checklist turns anxiety into a sequence. Use ours as a starting template, then customize for each school on your shortlist.

Resource: University application document checklist

Status: template below (PDF download can replace this section when uploaded to Media).

Use this list when you open a new school guide on EduRanked:

  • Confirm applicant category (domestic / out-of-province / international) on the official admissions page
  • Note application portal URL and account email you will use
  • List required documents: transcripts, test scores, language proof, portfolio, references
  • Write each document’s issuer and request date (school counselor, exam board, language test center)
  • Capture application fee amount and payment method from the official fee page
  • Separate scholarship or residence applications and their deadlines
  • Record deposit rules and refund windows if an offer arrives
  • Save PDF confirmations of every submission

After you finish the list for School A, duplicate it for School B — do not assume shared deadlines.

Resource: Tuition & cost questions to verify

Before you trust any third-party number (including ours after time passes), verify:

  • Tuition for your faculty/program and course load
  • Mandatory student fees, health fees, and transit passes
  • Differences for international vs domestic rates
  • Housing costs if you need residence — and meal plan rules
  • Scholarship stacking rules (can awards combine?)
  • Payment deadlines and late penalties

Write the official URL next to each answer. If EduRanked and the school disagree, the school wins — then tell us.

Resource: Myth-busting prompts

When family or social media shares a confident claim, ask:

  1. What is the primary source?
  2. What year is the figure from?
  3. Does it apply to my program and applicant category?
  4. Is this a ranking, a marketing claim, or a policy page?

Our guides include myth-vs-fact sections when a topic is commonly misunderstood. Methodology for how we source claims lives on Sources & Methodology.

How these resources connect to guides

Pick a school from the homepage or university admissions category. Read admissions + tuition. Fill the checklists above. Then open the Sources links and confirm. That loop is the product — resources without verification still create mistakes.

Downloads and lead magnet

When a polished PDF is ready (for example, “University application checklist — documents, deadlines, and fee questions”), upload it in WordPress Media and replace the template section with a direct download button. In SEORankar, map the file URL under Sites → Users → Lead magnet so article pipelines can offer it consistently.
